Creative Engagement Solutions, LLC (CES) is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Communications Specialist to help support internal and external communications for public sector clients. As a Junior Communication Specialist at CES, you will support the improvement of our client communication processes. In addition, you will be responsible for promoting a positive public image of our company. If you are an enthusiastic, outgoing, and energetic person, we would love to meet with you!

The Junior Communications Specialist will contribute to communication strategies, research, writing and editing, product development, and event/meeting logistics and facilitation.

You must:

• Be a motivated, self-starter who takes initiative and meets deadlines
• Be highly organized
• Be able to work on multiple projects at once and prioritize your work
• Be able to effectively explain your social media and marketing decisions
• Be creative and look for new angles and approaches to common social media problems
• Be able to track and report on works in progress, accomplishments, and completed projects

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• A minimum of two years work experience in communications, marketing, business, or related field
• Local to the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area
